At STC India, our mission has always been clear – to champion the advancement of technical communication. Over the last 25 years since the STC India Chapter was born, we have run initiatives and competitions to recognize stellar work in the field of technical communication.
This year, we wanted to raise the bar. We have re-imagined what recognition in technical communication should look like!
The STC India Technical Writing Excellence Awards represent a transformative leap forward. We want to position STC India Awards as a global benchmark for technical communication excellence in the industry. We want to establish an award system that remains consistent while evolving to align with the latest technological advancements and industry requirements. With multiple categories, we aim to highlight and celebrate talent across various facets of technical communication. We all know that a brilliant technical writer is a multi-skilled persona, and what better way to shine a light on the ability of technical writers to juggle diverse skills!
This year, we were thrilled to receive an outstanding number of nominations across categories—a testament to the vibrant talent in our community! We handpicked judges for each category to ensure a fair and unbiased process, while upholding the spirit of encouragement and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Our judges expressed how challenging it was to select the best, which underscores the remarkable talent we aim to celebrate through the STC India Awards. This reinforces our belief that we are headed in the right direction.
Our vision is ambitious. We want to steer STC India Technical Writing Excellence Awards to be a symbol of excellence not just in India but on a global stage.
